This is a subscription box that delivers jewelry to your door every month. You choose how many you want to receive every month.

Products

Imogen "Regal" Layered Bracelet - $99

Each item comes in a box closed with a ribbon. Makes me feel all fancy receiving it! 

And here are the bracelets inside.

I really love these gold bracelets. I feel like I scored with this one because I can wear them separate OR together. So I really got TWO bracelets. I love that they aren't super fancy and can be worn with anything. 

The stone bracelet wasn't on my explanation card, so I don't know if I got it on accident or if was an extra free gift, but I really like it! Nice and simple.

Zoe "Life" Interlocking Ring - $99

I thought this ring was very nice. I usually wear my rings on my ring finger, and this one was a littler large. In my profile I put size 7 so I don't know if this is just a large size 7 or if I sized myself wrong. It fits on my pointer finger perfect though so at least I can wear it there. I just need to get used to wearing a ring on that finger. But I love that it's silver!

Erin "Peace" Natural Stone Necklace - $99

This necklace is very simple very classy. It was hard to get the actual color of the stone to show. Its got a little more pink to it. It seems like a piece that will go well with pretty much anything.

Surprise Bonus Item

The bonus item was Talc-Free Mineral Wear Correcting Primer. I didn't care much for this because I honestly don't even know what to do with it. But I do like that they try and gift an extra item in each box. I gifted this to my sister who knows more about makeup than I do.

Final Thoughts

Everything in Cate & Chloe's shop seems to be about $99 so that's what I priced the ones I couldn't find at. I honestly think that pricing is ridiculous. I don't think I would ever pay that much for any of these, but I like that I got them with my box I paid less than $40 for. 

I liked all of the pieces. I also liked that I got one bracelet, one necklace, and one ring. That's what I was hoping to get when signing up for the three piece box. 

I can't wait to see what it is in my next box!

WorldlyBox April 2016 Review

What is WorldlyBox?

WorldlyBox is a company that provides a monthly subscription box of jewelry from around the world at an affordable price.

The Subscription Box

Contents: 2 unique jewelry pieces + bonus surprise!

Price: You can pay month to month, pay for a 3 month subscription. or a 6 month subscription. Here are the prices:

The Packaging

Here is the box everything is packaged in. It had twine wrapped around it with a sticker holding it in place but I accidentally deleted all of my original box opening photos so I just have a photo of the box. I am so sorry! It was way cute though I promise.

And here are the cards that were included in the box. 

This car was my favorite because it showed to me how much they appreciate their customers. This card was written for ME and explains why she picked these items for me.

According to the cards all of my items are from Venezuela this month.

The Products

Obsidian Necklace

All of their items are individually wrapped in small drawstring bags, which I just love. They are reusable and I feel like I am getting more than just the two jewelry items they send. The first item was this gorgeous drawstring bag.

Inside was an obsidian stone necklace. I love the gray markings on the black stone. I don't know what the metal type of the necklace is but I think it's gorgeous. I had to have my husband translate the card for me. I could get bits and pieces but wanted to make sure I was right before translating it to you. 

It says something along the lines of it being a gem of meditation, makes the good emerge from the one who carries it, protects against negativity, and that it is ideal for those whose sign is Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Clay Necklace

Here is the drawstring bag that the necklace was packaged in.

And here is the beautiful necklace. I love the colors on it and I love that it looks so natural. The clay pendant is a little big, so it will take me some getting used to when I wear it, and I need to find something it will match with (I think I have a skirt it will work perfectly with now that I think about it). 

And here it is on display. The string is actually QUITE long. I had to adjust it so it could fit better on my display.

Surprise Item

My surprise item was this beautiful pouch that has a zipper on top. I will be using it as my new coin purse. I feel like I scored on this surprise item because...

...she included gummy bears in my pouch! I always love receiving tasty treats. So basically I got TWO surprise items ;)

Final Thoughts

WorldlyBox is definitely one of my favorite boxes. Their customer service is phenomenal and I feel like this box was tailored to me quite well. She mentioned on one of my cards that she saw I don't wear earrings and like necklaces and so she gave me two necklaces for my first box. I love that they pay attention to each customer's wants so well. I also told them I didn't like really beaded jewelry and so she did a great job of avoiding those for me.

I don't know how to price these items because they are so unique, which makes this subscription box all the more exciting.

Walmart Baby Box Spring 2016

What is Walmart Baby Box?

Walmart Baby Box is a box that you can subscribe to that sends baby supplies that are age appropriate for your baby or toddler. They determine the stage your child is in according to the birth date you provide when signing up.

They ship you a box about every three months, or as they say, as your child reaches a new "stage". I am curious to see if they keep sending me one every three months since my baby was 14 months when I got my first one.

The Products

Cheerios Toasted Whole Grain Oat Cereal (17 g) - $1.00

My daughter has always loved cheerios and so I knew this would be a hit. She loved having her own treat box to hold. I use these as treats for my dogs so they got what she didn't want.

All Dryer Sheets For Sensitive Skin (5 Sheets) - $0.25??

We don't have a child with sensitive skin so we have been using normal dryer sheets. I do know a lot of babies with sensitive skin though so I could see why they included it. I always use dryer sheets so I will be using these with what I already have. 

Shout Wipe & Go Instant Stain Remover (4 wipes) - $1.00

I am always wary I of instant stain remover wipes and sticks because they sometimes have made my stains worse in the past. This is a nice purse size though so I will keep it on hand for when I need it.

Vaseline Instant Care Advanced Repair (2 fl oz) - $0.75

I was very happy when I saw this in the box because I needed this really bad. It seemed to work a lot longer than my usual lotions. I am going to need to buy this full size product.

Sesame Street Fizzy Tub Colors (6 oz) - $3.00

My daughter is going to love these. She loves bath time and this will make it even more fun. There are a good number of tablets in here too! 

Nuby Grip N Sip - $2.50

I was very happy to see this because I bought two a few weeks before and my dog destroyed one of them within minutes of it being out of the bag. So now I am back to having two thanks to Walmart. My daughter likes these sippy cups. It is no spill but the spout on the top is so big that it does drip a little when they are done because the extra collects at the top. But we still like these.

First let's calculate the total value of this box.

For a $5 box, I'll say that's not a bad value. I at least got more than what I spent on the box. There was only one full sized sample in this box. As a box FOR my toddler I don't think it was great, but as a mom and toddler box I think it was a great box. I would like to see more items for my toddler instead of me, the mom, though in the future.
